Missing the beach...

The kids went back to school today and sadly we didn't get to go to the beach this summer...with all of the sports traveling, and our cruise booked for Jan 2019 we couldn't fit Myrtle Beach in too. We explained to the kids that we are getting on "the big boat" again after Christmas but they still missed going to the beach over the summer. We've agreed that we will do our best to go to Myrtle again in 2019, now to find the perfect vacation rental. Where do you stay when you travel to Myrtle Beach? We typically use VRBO and stay in between Surfside and Garden City, we're thinking of taking a group with us this year b/c there has been a lot of interest!
Tomorrow I am off to Houston for the day, then traveling to Denver tomorrow night and will be there all day Thursday. Tip - start a rapid rewards program with your airline, I am racking up the miles this year with Southwest. Off to pack lunches!
